The Cross-counter artists exchange project was postponed due to the great disaster in Eastern Japan, but we are pleased to announce that it has been rescheduled to a new date in this September. With intentions of presenting a new style of exchange programme between contemporary artists of two countries, originally exchange exhibitions were planned. However, considering the current situation, we have now turn the plan, to turn it into a communal exhibition, and will try to restart Cross Counter Project as a continued project with emphasis put on the communication between the English and the Japanese. The crossroad of artists basing themselves in two different countries; the United Kingdom and Japan. We hope the discussions and the networks growing from this exhibition would give us an opportunity to contemplate the significance of sharing the experience of living in the present time beyond the nationality. We hope that you would bring yourself along to this exhibition.
